Dilek who fell in love with hospitality during her engineering studies started her hospitality career with Accor over 30 years ago in Turkey. After two short years, she has moved to UK where she held a large number of operational management positions including Multi-site General Manager, Area General Manager for ibis and ibis budget UK, both in London and in the wider UK regions. She has acquired wide-ranging experience in hotel management, pre-openings and actively been part of many transformations within the industry and the group.

She joined the Accor Eastern Europe Development Team as Development Director to oversee development of Accor’s diversified brand portfolio in South Eastern Europe in 2018.

Dilek, who is a graduate of IHMP (International Hotel Management Program) by Accor Academy – ESSEC – Cornell has been involved in various projects over the years from the Finance & F&B Finance Module Trainer of internal development programs to ISO Quality Assurance or Planet 21.

Dilek currently leads the development of Accor’s premium, midscale and economy portfolio in South Eastern Europe (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia).
