Gregor Famira is a highly experienced transaction lawyer, with an impressive track record in the hotel industry and the startup industry, and a faible for sustainability. As a partner at CMS in Vienna he founded the firm's offices in Zagreb and Ljubljana in 2003 and 2008, respectively, establishing himself as a key player in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) legal and business landscape. Gregor coordinates the law firm’s activities in the field of real estate in south-east Europe. He has been active in the CEE region for 20 years now, during which time he has overseen numerous corporate and real estate transactions in the region. Gregor Famira specializes in the asset classes hotels and commercial, advising owners, financiers and operators/retail businesses on transactions, lease and tenancy agreements, and generation change. Gregor is a member of ISHC – International Society of Hospitality Consultants. In addition to his legal expertise, Gregor has (and is happy to share!) first-hand experience as a shareholder in a tourism company that gives him a deep insight into the industry.
