Alex Sogno has been a passionate supporter of the hotel sector throughout his working life, having begun his career at HVS International New York following his graduation from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland. Following a period with Cushman & Wakefield HQ in New York, Alex joined Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI), where he asset managed around ~20 hotels under the Four Seasons, Fairmont, Raffles, Mövenpick, and Swissotel brands across EMEA and Asia. Alex assisted in KHI’s listing on the London and Dubai stock exchange. He left KHI to found Global Asset Solutions in Singapore back in 2007. As CEO of Global Asset Solutions, Alex Sogno operates worldwide and represents the largest independent asset management group in Europe, with +50 assets under management worth over $15bn.
